Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Crane Operator role based in the United Arab Emirates. The Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating cranes and related heavy lifting equipment to move, position, and install heavy and oversize loads in line with project plans and safety procedures. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-operation inspections, setting up cranes and rigging, following lifting plans and signals from supervisors and riggers, and monitoring equipment performance during operations. The role also involves adhering to local regulations and company safety standards, reporting any equipment issues, and maintaining accurate records of lifting activities. The Crane Operator will collaborate closely with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure efficient, safe, and timely project execution.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in lifting operations, including planning, executing, and monitoring safe lifting activities.
• Candidates should possess experience working with heavy equipment, with a focus on safe handling, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of lifting equipment such as slings, shackles, hooks, and rigging accessories, and their correct usage.
• Candidates should possess competence in cranes, including operating various crane types (mobile, crawler, tower) according to manufacturer and site requirements.
• Candidates should possess inspection skills to carry out pre-use and routine checks on cranes and lifting gear, identifying and reporting defects.
• Relevant crane operator certification or license (in line with UAE regulations) is required, along with a strong understanding of safety standards and lifting regulations.
• Prior experience in heavy lifting, construction, industrial projects, or energy sector operations is highly beneficial.
• Ability to read and follow lifting plans, work permits, and technical instructions, with effective communication skills to coordinate with site teams.
• Physical ability to work on construction or industrial sites, including working at heights
