About the Role
We are seeking a talented and culturally aware Creative Copywriter who can craft compelling, clear, and engaging content in both Arabic and English. You will be responsible for creating marketing copy, brand messaging, social media content, website copy, and campaign materials that resonate across Middle Eastern and global audiences.
This role requires exceptional writing skills, strong attention to detail, and a deep understanding of linguistic nuances, tone, and cultural context.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality written content in Arabic and English across digital and traditional channels.
- Write copy for websites, social media posts, email campaigns, landing pages, product descriptions, video scripts, and advertisements.
- Adapt and localise content to ensure cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and creative teams to ensure messaging consistency across all platforms.
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, tone, and brand alignment.
- Conduct research to understand industry trends, audience behaviour, and competitive messaging.
- Maintain and contribute to brand guidelines and tone of voice documents.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising deadlines and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Graphic design or creative direction background.
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic and excellent command of English (written and verbal).
- Proven experience as a copywriter, content writer, or similar role (portfolio required).
- Ability to switch seamlessly between languages while maintaining tone and intent.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances in Arabic-speaking markets.
- Experience writing for digital marketing, social media, and advertising.
- High attention to detail and strong editing/proofreading skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and content optimisation is a plus.
- Experience in agency environments or working with international brands is preferred.
- Experience with performance marketing copy (ads, landing page optimisation).
- Knowledge of Gulf region dialects and cultural norms.
- Understanding of UX writing principles.
