We are seeking a Credit Analyst to join the Credit function of a financial services institution based in Dubai. The role involves assessing credit risk, analysing borrower financial information, and supporting credit decision-making across a lending portfolio in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse borrower financial statements, cash flows, and overall creditworthiness for new and existing clients
- Prepare credit assessments, reviews, and risk recommendations for approval by relevant credit committees
- Support the structuring of lending facilities, including limits, security, covenants, and pricing considerations
- Conduct ongoing credit monitoring, including annual reviews, covenant compliance, and early warning indicators
- Identify and escalate emerging credit risks or signs of deterioration in counterparties
- Work closely with Relationship Management and Risk teams to support lending activity and portfolio management
- Ensure credit documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained in line with internal governance standards
Qualifications & skills
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Experience in a credit analysis or credit risk role within a bank or regulated financial services environment
- Strong financial analysis, credit assessment, and report writing skills
- Good understanding of corporate or commercial lending structures and credit risk principles
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
