A leading Manufacturing & Electrical Trading Company is seeking a Credit Officer
Job Description
- Responsible for Credit and Collection Department
- Maintain the Corporate credit policy
- Recommend changes in the credit policy to senior management
- Create a credit scoring model
- Manage customer credit files
- Review new customer applications and perform credit checks.
- Monitor the credit granting and updating process
- Accept or reject the credit recommendations
- Set and monitor credit terms (payment period, limits, risk levels)
- Visit the customers to maintain and sustain relations
- Periodically review and adjust credit limits.
- Monitor customers, aging and credit limits reports.
- Coordinating with Sales Department for Customer relations
- Monitor exposure against approved credit limits.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policy
Skills
- B.Sc in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business, or a similar field or B.Com (as a minimum graduation degree)
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a credit officer.
- Strong communication skills and proven customer service experience.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work with complicated financial data.
- Strong ethical behaviour and the ability to work with sensitive financial information.
- Bilingual English / Arabic
