Credit Underwriter

The Lending Tree is looking for an experienced Credit Underwriter with a strong background in UAE mortgage credit assessment and underwriting.

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: Up to AED 10,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Assess mortgage applications by reviewing customers financial profiles, income, liabilities, and repayment capacity.
• Analyze AECB credit reports, bank statements, salary certificates, and other financial documents.
• Evaluate mortgage eligibility in accordance with UAE banks lending policies and credit requirements.
• Calculate Debt Burden Ratio (DBR), Loan-to-Value (LTV), and other relevant mortgage eligibility parameters.
• Conduct credit assessments for both salaried and self-employed customers.
• Identify potential credit risks and discrepancies in mortgage applications.
• Coordinate with mortgage consultants and bank representatives to ensure smooth processing of applications.
• Recommend suitable mortgage solutions based on customers financial eligibility and bank criteria.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE banking regulations and internal credit assessment procedures.

Requirements

• Prior experience in UAE mortgage credit underwriting or credit analysis is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of UAE mortgage lending policies, eligibility criteria, and credit assessment procedures.
• Experience working with UAE banks, mortgage brokerages, or financial institutions.
• Hands-on experience reviewing AECB reports, calculating DBR, and assessing mortgage eligibility.
• Good understanding of financial documentation for salaried and self-employed customers.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
