Role Description
We are looking for a CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Manager (Klaviyo) to build and manage Songai's customer lifecycle marketing from the ground up.
This is a hands-on role focused on building automated CRM journeys, improving retention, and turning customer data into repeat revenue. You will work directly with the CEO to build and scale the entire customer journey from first interaction through repeat purchases and long-term loyalty.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating systems, experimenting with campaigns, and improving performance through data in a fast-moving startup environment.
Your focus will be on designing and managing Songai's CRM ecosystem using Klaviyo, building automated lifecycle journeys that support customer acquisition, retention, and repeat purchases. This includes developing high-impact flows such as welcome journeys, abandoned song creation reminders, gifting reminders for life events, post-purchase engagement, and customer reactivation campaigns.
You will analyse customer behaviour and campaign performance to continuously improve engagement and lifetime value. The role will also involve building segmentation strategies based on behaviour, occasions, and purchase history, allowing Songai to deliver personalised experiences at scale.
You will work closely with product and marketing to improve the overall customer journey while integrating CRM systems with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify and other checkout environments. A key part of the role will be designing a scalable CRM foundation that supports rapid global growth.
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
In your first three months, your focus will be on building the core lifecycle engine that powers Songai's customer experience and repeat revenue.
You will set up and optimise Klaviyo as the core CRM platform and implement the foundational lifecycle flows that support customer acquisition and retention. This includes building the welcome flow, abandoned creation reminders, and post-purchase engagement journeys.
You will begin structuring customer data and segmentation so that Songai can personalise communications based on occasions, relationships, and key moments in customers lives. You will also establish reporting dashboards and performance tracking so that lifecycle campaigns can be measured and optimised continuously.
By the end of the first 90 days, Songai will have a functioning CRM lifecycle system designed to support repeat engagement and scalable growth.
