CS Core Engineer
Location: Saudi Arabia
Contract: 12-Month Renewable Contract
Overview
We are looking for an experienced CS Core Engineer to join a leading telecommunications project in Saudi Arabia on a 12-month renewable contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and optimisation of the mobile core network, ensuring maximum network availability and service performance across multiple core platforms.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily operation and maintenance of CS Core network elements.
- Support MSC, MGW, HLR, HSS, UDC, IP-STP and other core network platforms.
- Perform daily health checks, quarterly audits and special event audits.
- Troubleshoot network faults and service degradation.
- Perform end-to-end protocol and interface tracing.
- Manage and verify network configurations.
- Maintain core network performance and availability.
- Perform software upgrades and patch management.
- Carry out security and configuration audits.
- Work closely with Engineering, Solutions and Customer Support teams.
- Document incidents, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support network optimisation activities.
- Ensure compliance with customer security and operational standards.
Required Skills
- Strong CS Core operations and maintenance experience.
- Experience supporting MSC, MGW, HLR and HSS.
- Hands-on troubleshooting within live telecom networks.
- Experience performing protocol tracing and analysis.
- Configuration management experience.
- Software upgrade and patch management experience.
- Strong understanding of telecom core network architecture.
Nice to Have
- 5G Core experience.
- UDC, IP-STP, DSC/EIR, PG, UPG experience.
- Security and compliance audit experience.
- Network optimisation experience.
