Position Objectives
- Provide technical support and governance for Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) aspects of the data center program to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Focus on constructability, quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules while ensuring lifecycle performance.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Assist in the review and validation of CSA design packages for compliance with relevant codes and client requirements.
- Support constructability assessments and practical sequencing for efficient project delivery.
- Provide oversight during construction activities, including foundations, superstructure, and architectural finishes.
- Review and approve technical submittals and materials to ensure they meet project specifications.
- Address site RFIs and NCRs with effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Define CSA Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure compliance with local building codes and international standards.
- Manage CSA interfaces with MEP systems to ensure spatial coordination and clash-free delivery.
- Identify and mitigate CSA-related risks and provide input on cost and schedule management.
- Validate as-built documentation and support authority inspections for handover readiness.
Qualification and Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil design for major projects, preferably in mission-critical or data center environments.
- Proven experience in foundations, superstructures, and architectural systems.
- Strong knowledge of local authority processes and relevant international standards (e.g., ACI, ASTM).
- Familiarity with QA/QC systems, ITPs, and contractor oversight.
- Understanding of BIM coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks, Revit) is a plus.
