Job Title: CSI Site Manager

Location: Dammam, KSA

Business Unit: Thermal Process Management

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Operations Leader to spearhead the launch and ongoing operations of our new greenfield manufacturing facility in Dammam, KSA. This pivotal role will lead all aspects of facility setup, drive operational excellence, and ensure the site achieves and maintains Saudi Aramco 9COM approval & IKTVA score. The Site Manager will build and lead a high-performing team, establish robust processes, and foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end setup of the new KSA facility, including construction oversight, equipment installation, commissioning, and operational readiness.
  • Develop and execute facility startup plans, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure all operational systems (utilities, IT, safety, security) are established and tested prior to production launch.
  • Lead and manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, and logistics.
  • Recruit, train, and develop plant staff to build a high-performing, diverse team.
  • Drive the facility's qualification for Saudi Aramco 9COM approval by leading technical and quality assessments, preparing documentation, facilitating audits, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Saudi Aramco requirements, ISO 9001, and local regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, Saudization, and local workforce development initiatives.
  • Navigate government licensing and permits (MISA, Ministry of Industry, municipal authorities).
  • Oversee project management for facility setup, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Lead commissioning activities to ensure all systems meet performance standards and secure authority approvals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, project management, and HR teams across Saudi and US sites to achieve CSI goals.
  • Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

What we're looking for (high level):

  • A hands-on operations leader who can launch and run a greenfield manufacturing facilitystartup planning, equipment installation, commissioning, and operational readiness.
  • Proven ability to establish a strong safety, quality, and continuous improvement culture while leading day-to-day operations (production, maintenance, logistics).
  • Strong operational excellence / Lean background with evidence of measurable improvements (KPIs, daily management, structured problem solving).
  • Solid quality/regulatory discipline, including documentation and audit readiness, with the ability to drive and sustain expectations tied to Saudi Aramco 9COM approval and IKTVA.
  • Relevant manufacturing experience, especially in fabrication processes (welding/cutting/forming) and working within established quality systems.
  • Can start with a lean leadership team and scale to a 35-person operation, adding production supervisors and direct labor as output ramps.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in greenfield facility setup and commissioning is highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience with welding, cutting, forming, fabrication, and quality specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of production management, safety standards, and quality systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with Saudi Aramco 9COM approval or similar regulatory processes is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position (40 hours / week) with occasional extended hours based on operational needs.
  • On-site role in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and production processes.

Language Skills

  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • Needs to be able to communicate and function within Saudi Arabia.
  • Ability to communicate with diverse mix of nationalities coming to Saudi preferred.

Mathematical Skills

Basic math skills required with Algebra and Trigonometry preferred.

Reasoning Ability

  • Must be able to understand and solve problems and situations in the best interest of all parties involved.

Computer Skills

  • Basic computer skills required such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to be trained and operate within CSI ERP system.

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Highly motivated individual willing to take on additional responsibilities and duties under a challenging and compressed schedules.
