Job Responsibilities:
- Perform commissioning and startup activities of process units, utilities, and supporting systems.
- Conduct loop checks, functional tests, and pre-startup inspections to verify system readiness.
- Operate and monitor plant systems via DCS (Distributed Control System) during commissioning and startup.
- Support the safe startup and ramp-up of hydrogen/ammonia production units.
- Troubleshoot and report operational or instrumentation issues during commissioning.
- Collaborate with CSU, commissioning, and engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Follow all HSE, operational, and project procedures during commissioning and start-up.
- Maintain accurate commissioning records and reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years in commissioning, startup, or operations in Oil & Gas, chemical, or hydrogen/ammonia plants.
- Experience with DCS operation and plant control systems.
- Hands-on experience in loop checks, functional checks, and plant start-up activities.
- Knowledge of utilities and auxiliary systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety, process, and operational procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment and under tight schedules.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in hydrogen, ammonia, or renewable energy projects.
- Familiarity with green hydrogen production processes.
