Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, Deploy and configure Adobe Workfront as the marketing work management platform. Manages offshore Workfront configurators/developers and delivers validated configurations to the Content PM. The Workfront Lead will act as the Workfront platform expert within the India Content team, leading offshore Workfront configurators and developers and working closely with the France / Onshore Workfront Lead and the overall Content Stream Lead. The role requires a combination of hands-on Workfront expertise, implementation experience, team leadership and strong communication skills. The successful candidate will be expected not only to execute specifications, but also to challenge them when relevant, recommend Workfront best practices and actively transfer knowledge to the onshore team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Configure Workfront according to specifications received (workflows, custom forms, reporting, project templates), Translate functional specifications and target Content Supply Chain workflows into Workfront solution designs and configurations, Configure Workfront according to agreed specifications, including: Portfolios, Programs, Projects, Tasks and Issues, Project and task templates, Request queues and intake processes, Custom forms, fields and calculated fields, Routing rules and notifications, Multi-level approval workflows, Teams, groups, roles and access rights, Reports and dashboards, Configure Workfront Planning capabilities where required to support marketing and content planning, Ensure configurations are scalable, maintainable and aligned with Workfront best practices, - Challenge requirements when a simpler or more standard Workfront solution would better address the business need
• Develop Workfront integrations with AEM, Firefly and third-party tools, Design, develop and oversee Workfront integrations with AEM, Firefly and relevant third-party tools, Configure and support Workfront AEM Assets / DAM integrations, including linked folders, metadata synchronization and cross-platform workflows, Support Workfront Firefly workflows for AI-enabled content generation and production use cases, Design and implement automation scenarios using Workfront Fusion, Leverage Adobe I/O and Workfront APIs where required for custom integrations, data extraction and automation, Coordinate integration requirements and dependencies with AEM, Firefly and other technical teams, Troubleshoot integration issues and support resolution of cross-platform dependencies,
• Lead offshore Workfront configurators and developers, Lead the India-based Workfront configurators and developers, Translate functional designs into clear technical specifications and development activities, - Allocate and coordinate activities across the Workfront team, Provide technical guidance and resolve complex Workfront configuration issues, Review configurations and developments produced by the team, Ensure delivery against agreed scope, milestones and quality expectations, Escalate blockers, risks and cross-stream dependencies to the Content Stream Lead / Content PM
• Prepare administration documentation and user guides submitted to the France Lead,- Prepare and maintain Workfront administration and configuration documentation, Produce relevant user guides and technical documentation for handover to the France Lead and client teams, Document configuration decisions, integrations, dependencies and administration procedures, Actively share Workfront knowledge, implementation best practices and lessons learned, Explain Workfront capabilities and technical choices clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, Coach offshore team members and support knowledge transfer to the onshore team
• Manage post-deployment evolutions and level-2 user support, Support preparation of Workfront technical and functional test scenarios, Coordinate Workfront testing and defect resolution, Support integration testing and E2E testing across the Content Supply Chain, Support UAT with the France Lead and relevant business teams, Ensure deliverable quality and technical readiness before handover, Support deployment, rollout and hypercare activities, Ensure configuration consistency across environments and rollout waves, Manage post-deployment Workfront evolutions and enhancements, Provide and coordinate Level-2 Workfront support, Investigate and resolve complex configuration and integration issues, Assess enhancement requests and recommend appropriate Workfront solutions, Support continuous improvement of workflows and configurations based on user feedback and evolving business needs, Escalate blockers and dependencies to the Content PM
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must Have Skills: Adobe Workfront: advanced configuration of objects (Projects, Tasks, Issues, Portfolios, Programs), custom forms, calculated fields, approval processes, routing rules, notifications and reminders
• Workfront Automation & Workflows: routing rules, notifications, reminders, multi-level approval processes
• Workfront Planning (Maestro): record type configuration, views, object connections for marketing planning, connections between planning and execution workflows
• Workfront Fusion: strong experience designing and building automation scenarios creation for integrations (triggers, filters, routers, aggregators, actions, aggregators, error handling, cross-platforms automation scenarios)
• Workfront AEM (Enhanced Connector): linked folder configuration, metadata synchronization, cross-product approval workflows, content review and approval processes
• Workfront Firefly integration: generation triggering via Workfront Fusion + Adobe I/O, AI-enabled content generation workflows, automated content creation and adaptation use cases
• Workfront API (REST & GraphQL): custom report creation, data extraction for PMO reporting, data extraction, custom integration, reporting & PMO data flows
• Workfront reporting: dashboards, capacity reports, creative project budget tracking, PMO and delivery reporting, workload and capacity reporting
• User and access management: access levels, layout templates, teams and groups
• Other Required Skills, -Act as a Workfront knowledge partner for the onshore team( Clearly explain Workfront capabilities, limitations and technical choices, Proactively share recommendations rather than simply execute specifications, Bring examples and lessons learned from previous Workfront implementations, Explain complex Workfront topics in an accessible way)
• Proven experience deploying Adobe Workfront, experience with at least one end-to-end Workfront implementation, covering solution design, configuration, testing and go-live, ability to independently design a Workfront solution based on business and workflow requirements
• Experience leading Workfront developers and/or configurators
• Strong understanding of Workfront implementation best practices and common implementation pitfalls
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Previous experience working on large-scale Content Supply Chain transformations is a strong advantage
• Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Workfront Core Developer (mandatory)
• Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Workfront Project Manager (recommended)
• Adobe Certified Professional – Adobe Workfront Fusion Developer (appreciated)

• The candidate should have 5+ years on Workfront (advanced administration, integrations), proven offshore team management, ability to work from specifications without direct client contact.
• This position is based at our BDC11 - SEZ location.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
