As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to align with specific business processes and application needs. You will engage in understanding the requirements, translating them into functional software solutions, and ensuring that the applications effectively support organizational goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders to refine application features and continuous improvement of software components are integral parts of your daily activities, fostering seamless business operations through customized technology solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve performance and user experience.
  • Document technical specifications and application configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
  • Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding project requirements and technical challenges.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Field Service Management.
  • Strong knowledge of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in configuring and customizing enterprise software solutions to meet business needs.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within software applications.
  • Familiarity with integration techniques and tools to connect various business systems.
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Field Service Management.
  • This position is based at our Chennai office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
