Job Description

Job Purpose

  • To manage External Asset Management (EAM) Desk independently and work as a RM to onboard regulated EAMs to into Mashreq.
  • Apart from onboarding EAMs, Job Holder must be able to source new HNW clients through these EAMs by continuous meeting with them and their RMs
  • The job holder is required to enhance Private Banking book growth / revenues and promote the cross selling of bank products to all these clients through EAMs. The purpose is to grow wallet share in this area.
  • To provide his/her clients with personalized service so as to develop close relationships, achieve maximum profitable contribution for the client and bank and retain their loyalty and respect.
  • Job holder must ensure that clients are aware of all financial services offered by the banks many departments, TCM, Trade Finance, Mortgage, Corporate Banking etc.

Key Result Areas:

  • Ability to identify right EAMs to be onboarded, communicate with them and execute the agreement in line with regulations.
  • Manage ongoing relationship with EAMs and governance around it
  • Ability to communicate with HNW clients to structure advise based on client needs
  • Optimize the potential value of the client base through the delivery of Private Banking products and services and actively identify new customers
  • Ability to communicate with HNW clients to structure advise based on client need
  • Ability to recognize opportunities to partner with other bank professionals to service client needs and maximize bank revenues.
  • Safeguard the bank from potential loss / AML fraud/ and ensure ethical behavior
  • Safeguard banks reputation by ensuring ethical professional behavior at all times before/during after sales
  • Achieve revenue goals, sales & portfolio growth targets across a range of products & services (Investments, Term Deposits, CASA balances, TCM, FX trading, share financing, etc)
  • Maintain a superior customer service experience for clients including pre-empting issues and proactive servicing.
  • Minimize customer attrition & Maintain proactive client contact

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • Management Graduate in Sales, Marketing, Finance
  • Strong numbers, selling & investments/ Financial Market Knowledge
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
  • Relationship Management & Networking skills. Extrovert / Amiable personality
  • At least, 5 years of experience in a similar job with another bank / financial services co. in the UAE, should be certified from the SCA for selling investments.
