Customs Brokerage Head

Job Description

Scope:

Lead and oversee Field Brokerage operations, ensuring efficient customs clearance, regulatory compliance, customer service, and operational performance in accordance with PSA BDP Ethics, company policies, and applicable customs regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Field Brokerage team and daily customs clearance operations.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
• Oversee customs documentation, declarations, permits, duties, exemptions, and related processes.
• Monitor operational performance, KPIs, service levels, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage escalations and resolve complex customs and operational issues.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Coach and develop team members to ensure strong performance and compliance.
• Provide regular operational updates and reports to management.
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of customer files and operational records.
  
  

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience :

8–10 years of experience in Customs Brokerage, Customs Clearance, Logistics, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a Team Leader or Management role.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Strong knowledge of customs regulations, clearance procedures, and compliance requirements.

Proven experience in team leadership and operational management.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer management skills.

Good command of English and Arabic.
