Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in International Trade, Logistics Management, Customs Administration, or related majors.
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customs or trade compliance, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in large multinational companies, reputable logistics providers, or the telecommunications industry is preferred.
Language Skills
- Working languages: Arabic and English.
- Knowledge of Chinese is a strong plus.

- Regulations & Compliance: In-depth knowledge of Egyptian customs laws, trade regulations, and related procedures, with the ability to accurately interpret and apply them in daily operations.
- Operational Expertise: Proficient in customs declaration, inspection, freight forwarding processes, HS classification, valuation, and handling customs-related issues or exceptions.
- Risk Management: Strong capability in identifying, assessing, and mitigating customs risks; able to build an effective compliance and risk control framework.
- Cost Control: Skilled in analyzing customs-related cost structures and formulating cost optimization strategies, improving efficiency through streamlined clearance processes.
- System Proficiency: Familiar with Nafeza, CargoX, and other relevant platforms, with solid skills in data entry, analysis, and reporting.
Management Competencies
- Communication & Coordination: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to maintain strong relationships with customs authorities, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve customs issues efficiently.
- Project Management: Capable of leading customs process optimization, system upgrades, and compliance enhancement projects, ensuring smooth execution and achievement of expected results.
