JOB PURPOSE (Explain at a high-level in two or three sentences the main purpose of the job and why the job exists and how it contributes to the company and departmental end-results) Conduct in-depth vulnerability and security compliance scans, coordinating with technical teams to fix identified issues, and documenting compliance with established security protocols. Ensure MDI's systems remain resilient to potential threats, aligns with industry best practices, and contributes to a secure and compliant operational landscape.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform Vulnerability Scans and Analysis: Conduct regular vulnerability and security compliance scans and assessments of software, systems, and networks to identify potential vulnerabilities and weaknesses.

2. Collaborate on Remediation Plans: Work with technical teams to develop and implement effective remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities in order to strengthen the security posture of MDI.

3. Document Security Compliance: Maintain accurate records and documentation of security measures, assessments, and compliance efforts to ensure transparency and accountability.

4. Analyze scan results to prioritize vulnerabilities based on their severity and potential impact.

5. Monitor vendor security advisories and alerts to identify software vulnerabilities and patches.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in communications engineering, computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity.

Certifications:

• CompTIA Security+
• ISO27001 Lead Implementer / Auditor
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• 2+ years of experience in Information security and Information technology (IT)
