Cyber Security Architect

Cyber Security Architect | 12-Month Contract | Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are currently supporting a leading organisation in Riyadh with the appointment of an experienced Cyber Security Architect on a 12-month onsite contract.

This role will be responsible for shaping and strengthening enterprise security architecture across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments, ensuring security is embedded throughout technology and business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise security architecture standards, frameworks, and roadmaps.
• Design secure architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
• Review and approve security designs for new technologies, projects, and business initiatives.
• Define security requirements and control objectives during solution design phases.
• Conduct architecture risk assessments and threat modelling exercises.
• Design network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and secure connectivity architectures.
• Review and provide guidance on firewall, WAF, VPN, proxy, and remote access solutions.
• Establish infrastructure hardening standards and secure baseline requirements.
  
  

Required Experience

• 6-8 years of Information Security experience.
• 3-5+ years in Security Architecture or Enterprise Architecture roles.
• Strong networking and infrastructure security expertise.
• Experience working within large enterprise environments.
• Ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
  
  

Preferred Certifications

• CISSP (ISC2)
• TOGAF
• SABSA Foundation or Practitioner
  
  

Industry Preference

Candidates must have banking experience.

Priority will be given to candidates with banking experience in the following order:

1. Saudi Arabia (KSA) Banking
2. GCC Banking
