What you'll do:

Team noon has some of the fastest, smartest, and hardest-working people we've encountered. With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we're driving major missions forward.

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining secure and scalable systems while working closely with technology and risk teams to embed security into everything we build.

• Develop secure back-end logic for web and mobile applications
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure secure integrations
• Perform threat modeling for new products and features
• Design and implement secure data models using relational databases
• Build scalable, high-quality code with strong security practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design, debug, and enhance secure solutions
• Stay updated on latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Security, or a related field
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and attack vectors
• Solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, system design, RESTful APIs, and HTTP
• Understanding of MySQL and server-side Python with secure coding practices
• Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, security automation)
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Passion for cybersecurity demonstrated through projects, internships, or competitions
• 0-2 year of experience in cybersecurity
