About the Role
We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to play a key role in establishing, securing, and supporting the organization's technology environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating cybersecurity controls, identity management, endpoint security, data protection, and monitoring capabilities across the organization. In addition to cybersecurity responsibilities, the role will support selected IT infrastructure administration activities and contribute to the deployment of modern Microsoft cloud and endpoint management solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls, processes, and operational procedures.
- Build and manage Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities across the organization.
- Establish and maintain identity and access management controls using Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and Privileged Access Management.
- Design and implement endpoint security, compliance, and device management capabilities using Microsoft Intune.
- Participate in the deployment and configuration of Microsoft 365, Azure, and supporting infrastructure services.
- Develop security baselines, hardening standards, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
- Support the implementation of secure network architectures, firewall policies, VPN security controls, and Zero Trust initiatives.
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents, threats, and security alerts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
- Support security governance, risk assessments, audits, and compliance initiatives.
- Perform security reviews of cloud, infrastructure, and business application environments.
- Support security awareness and cybersecurity training programs.
- Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, user lifecycle management, identity governance, and access provisioning activities.
- Support endpoint deployment, patch management, and device maintenance activities.
- Perform network security reviews and assist with secure network architecture initiatives.
- Monitor firewall rules, VPN access controls, and network security configurations.
- Participate in network vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.
- Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure Manager on infrastructure and security improvement projects.
- Transition implemented solutions into operational support and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain security and operational documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, security operations, or related fields.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender security solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID security features, MFA, and Conditional Access.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, device compliance, and security policy enforcement.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 security and endpoint protection technologies.
- Understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, and data security concepts.
- Knowledge of endpoint security, vulnerability management, and threat detection practices.
- Understanding of Azure security controls and cloud security principles.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and user lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Windows administration and endpoint management.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and wireless networking.
- Understanding of network security concepts including firewalls, IDS/IPS, network segmentation, and secure remote access.
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting and traffic analysis.
- Experience investigating security incidents and supporting remediation activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Purview, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, and Defender for Office 365.
- Experience implementing Microsoft Purview DLP and Information Protection solutions.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust security architecture.
- Experience supporting enterprise environments utilizing Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Experience supporting SAP or other enterprise business applications from a security perspective.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, or similar security frameworks.
- Experience with Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Sophos, Check Point, or similar networking and security platforms.
- Experience with firewall administration, VPN technologies, and network access controls.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and traffic analysis tools.
- Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Experience with PowerShell automation and Microsoft administration scripting.
- Experience conducting security awareness and training initiatives.
