Role Description

This is a contract, remote Cyber Security Specialist role. The Cyber Security Specialist will be responsible for safeguarding digital environments, ensuring the security of applications, networks, and information systems. Day-to-day tasks include identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, monitoring systems for threats, and responding to security incidents to maintain a secure information infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Application Security, ensuring software and applications are protected against potential threats.
• Strong skills in Cybersecurity, with experience in developing and enforcing cybersecurity protocols and frameworks.
• Expertise in Network Security, safeguarding data transferred across internal and external networks.
• In-depth knowledge of Information Security and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in cyber incident response and prevention measures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience or education in cybersecurity or related technical fields.
