Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Supervisor to manage and enhance the security posture of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing security controls, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with industry standards to protect the organization's digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Administration & Monitoring:
  • Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor security alerts, logs, and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel).
  • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security solutions.
  • Access Management & Compliance:
  • Administer PAM & IAM (Identity & Access Management) solutions to ensure secure access control.
  • Enforce multi-factor authentication (MFA), privileged access management (PAM), and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct security audits and risk assessments.
  • Incident Response & Threat Mitigation:
  • Investigate security breaches and implement response strategies.
  • Develop and maintain an incident response plan and coordinate cybersecurity drills.
  • Work with SOC teams to analyze threats and mitigate security risks.
  • System Hardening & Security Improvements:
  • Apply security patches and updates to OS, applications, and network devices.
  • Configure and maintain endpoint detection and response (EDR), antivirus, and anti-malware solutions.
  • Optimize firewall rules, VPN configurations, and network segmentation to enhance security.
  • Security Awareness & Training:
  • Conduct cybersecurity awareness training for employees.
  • Stay up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity administration.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
  • Experience with SIEM, vulnerability management, and identity access management solutions.
  • Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Good understanding of encryption, authentication, and data protection mechanisms.
