Cybersecurity Consultant / Instructor (Pre-Sales & Client Engagement)
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Cybersecurity Consultant with strong pre-sales, client engagement, and training/instructor capabilities. The ideal candidate will combine technical cybersecurity expertise with the ability to present, educate, and advise clients through workshops, training sessions, solution demonstrations, and strategic consulting engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with clients to understand business, technical, and cybersecurity requirements.
Conduct cybersecurity assessments, risk analysis, and security gap evaluations.
Design and recommend cybersecurity solutions tailored to client environments.
Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and pre-sales meetings.
Deliver cybersecurity awareness sessions, technical training, and instructor-led workshops for clients and internal teams.
Develop cybersecurity training materials, labs, presentations, and technical documentation.
Support sales teams in RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and solution positioning.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients on cybersecurity strategy, governance, and best practices.
Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams for successful project implementation and knowledge transfer.
Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and market trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
4+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, pre-sales, technical training, or instructor-led delivery.
Strong knowledge across cybersecurity domains including:
Network Security
Cloud Security
SOC & SIEM
Endpoint Protection
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Vulnerability Management
Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
Experience delivering technical training, workshops, or cybersecurity awareness programs.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with cybersecurity solutions from vendors such as:
Microsoft
Cisco
Palo Alto Networks
Fortinet
CrowdStrike
Ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused solutions.
Hands-on experience preparing technical proposals, solution architectures, and training content.
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and PCI-DSS.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with enterprise or government sectors.
