Job Summary
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Engineer to support sales teams by designing, positioning, and presenting cybersecurity solutions to enterprise and government customers. The role bridges technical expertise and business needs, ensuring proposed solutions meet compliance, security, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Pre-Sales
- Analyze customer security requirements, RFPs, and regulatory needs (NCA, SAMA, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
- Design end-to-end cybersecurity solutions including:
- SOC / MDR / SIEM
- IAM & PAM
- Network & Endpoint Security
- Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- OT/IoT Security
- Develop solution architectures, BoQs, and high-level designs (HLD).
- Conduct product demos, proof of concepts (PoC), and technical workshops.
- Support integrations with existing IT, OT, and cloud environments.
Sales & Business Support
- Work closely with sales teams to support opportunity qualification and closing.
- Prepare technical proposals, presentations, and compliance matrices.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.
- Support pricing models, licensing structures, and service scopes.
- Participate in customer meetings, negotiations, and executive briefings.
Customer & Partner Engagement
- Act as the technical point of contact for customers during the sales cycle.
- Coordinate with technology vendors and OEM partners.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging threats, technologies, and regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains:
- Network security (Firewall, IPS, VPN)
- Endpoint protection (EDR/XDR)
- SIEM & SOC operations
- Vulnerability management & GRC
- Knowledge of cloud security architectures.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks:
- NCA, SAMA, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS
- Ability to create architecture diagrams and solution documents.
Soft Skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness and customer-centric mindset.
- Strong documentation and proposal writing skills.
Experience
- 37 years in cybersecurity, with pre-sales or consulting experience.
- Experience working with enterprise or government customers.
- Exposure to KSA regulatory environments is a plus.
