Role Description

The Cylindrical Grinder Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in the United Arab Emirates. The individual in this role will operate cylindrical grinding machines to manufacture components with precision, adhering to design specifications. Responsibilities include setting up machines, selecting and installing appropriate grinding wheels, monitoring machine performance, conducting quality control checks, and performing maintenance. The operator will work closely with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating cylindrical grinding machines and precision machining
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and use measurement tools like micrometers and calipers
• Knowledge of machine setup, tool selection, and grinding wheel maintenance
• Familiarity with quality control processes, safety protocols, and troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Previous experience in hydraulic machining or the manufacturing sector is an advantage
• Technical diploma or certification in machining, toolmaking, or a related field preferred
