Job Description:

Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data management, privacy, or accessibility, preferably within a governmental or public sector context.
- Demonstrated understanding of Open Data initiatives, Freedom of Information laws, and data protection regulations.
- Proven track record of managing data projects or initiatives that require compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive Open Data and Freedom of Information programs that meet stakeholder needs and regulatory standards.
- Process and oversee requests for access to public information, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
- Regularly review and update data accessibility policies to ensure alignment with best practices and legal requirements.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and patterns related to public information requests and data accessibility initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including IT, legal, and compliance, to promote transparency and responsible data sharing.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees on the importance of data accessibility and compliance with information governance policies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of data accessibility initiatives and recommend improvements to optimize access while ensuring data protection.
