Role Overview – Data & AI Project Lead
Experience - 12+ years
Location- Qatar
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of project delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and closure.
- Manage and engage multiple stakeholders across business units, IT teams, and external partners.
- Drive project governance using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking through JIRA.
- Facilitate Project Review Working Groups, ensuring timely updates, risk mitigation, and effective decision-making.
- Oversee vendor coordination and ensure adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor project dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations across multiple workstreams.
- Ensure successful delivery of Data, Analytics, Governance, and AI-related initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Required Skills And Experience
- Minimum 12+ years of experience managing large-scale Data and AI projects, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Strong technical understanding of data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and AI-driven solutions.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and deliver programs under tight timelines.
- Hands-on expertise in Agile project management, JIRA, and collaboration tools.
- Strong communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
- GCC and/or Qatar banking experience is highly desirable.
Evaluation Criteria
Submitted profiles will be assessed based on
- Relevance and depth of Data, Analytics, and AI project experience.
- Demonstrated leadership in large-scale and complex transformation programs.
- Banking / financial services domain exposure, preferably within Qatar or the GCC.
- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies and JIRA.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors effectively.
- Availability to support immediate project timelines.
