Job Summary
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making and operational excellence. The role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights, developing reports and dashboards, identifying trends, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize business performance through data-driven recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Analyze operational, financial, and business performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Perform OPEX (Operational Excellence) data analysis to measure performance, identify process improvement opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Extract, analyze, and interpret data from ERP systems to support business operations and reporting.
- Develop automated data processing and reporting solutions using Python and other analytical tools.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports to management.
- Collaborate with business units to understand reporting requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling where appropriate.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and compliance with data governance standards.
- Document analytical methodologies, data models, and reporting processes.
- Support strategic planning and business improvement initiatives through data-driven insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics.
- Experience working with ERP systems and enterprise data environments.
- Experience analyzing Operational Excellence (OPEX) metrics and business performance is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and data manipulation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Power Query, PivotTables, advanced formulas).
- Experience with SQL for querying and managing databases.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and data modeling.
