Job Title: Data Analyst
Job Role:
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team to collect, prepare, and analyze clinical, operational, and financial data with the goal of improving patient outcomes and enhancing organizational performance. This role will provide critical insights for decision-making, quality improvement, and ensuring compliance with federal and state reporting requirements. A strong working knowledge of eClinicalWorks (eCW) is highly preferred to facilitate the extraction and analysis of Electronic Health Record (EHR) data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Extraction & Management: Extract, design, and build data structures from eClinicalWorks (eCW) and other internal systems to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Data Visualization & Reporting: Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports to support clinical and operational initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Data Integrity Monitoring: Continuously monitor data for errors, inconsistencies, and gaps across multiple sources to maintain the highest standards of data integrity.
- System Integration Support: Collaborate on system integration and interface management to streamline reporting and analytics processes.
- Regulatory Reporting: Develop and produce recurring and ad-hoc reports to support regulatory requirements such as HRSA, UDS, HEDIS, PCMH, and payer contracts.
- Leadership Insights: Design and present visually compelling dashboards (primarily using Power BI) that enable leadership to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Clearly present data findings and actionable insights to leadership, emphasizing how data supports decision-making and strategic goals.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, on-site role
- Fixed night shift: 3:00 PM 12:00 AM
- Fixed days off
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare data analysis or informatics role, ideally within an FQHC or community health setting.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Data Modeling.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI, including the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards.
- Familiarity with healthcare data reporting requirements such as HRSA, UDS, and HEDIS.
- Fluency in English (minimum B2 proficiency).
