Data Analytics Engineer

We are actively looking for a Data Analytics Engineer to join our Information Technology Team.

Core Competencies:

• Design Reports/ Dashboard using MS Power BI
• Data Validation and integrity of the reports
• Build complex Cognos reports using Report studio tool is a plus
• Design Dashboard using Cognos BI V.11.2.1 and above is a plus
• Design Reports using OBIEE and BIP is a plus
• Write and maintain complex SQL scripts and Procedure
• Generate Automated Reports to file System or share point.
• Know how to do Bursting Reports to mailing list or file system
• Participate in other projects in data migration
• Design and maintain Cognos / Power BI security Model
• Installation and configuration of Cognos BI and planned upgrades.
• Deliver the Daily reports for Company departments on time (more than 97% SLA)
• Write and review RFP for BI Project
• Dealing with supplier to Review the scope of documents for BI Project
• Follow up the Project plan to meet the project deadlines
• Monitor the BI and the ETL environment and make sure all services up and running

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• 4 years of deep experience in all Data Warehousing methods, concepts, best practices & technologies
• Strong experience in Cognos and Data Warehouse methods and technologies
• Have Deep experience with all aspects of power bi and Cognos BI and the best practices
• Expert creating complex Reports and Dynamic Dashboards
• Strong experience in building Data Quality checks and general know how of data quality principles
• Ability to understand Data Models and Dimensional Modeling
• Experience with Google Big Query and Oracle db
• Deep experience in building Data Quality checks & deep knowledge of data quality principles
• Cognos Implementations including environment, reporting design, Testing, and support
• analyzing business requirements and work with the team to deliver efficient reports
• Expert in Oracle SQL (DML & DDL), PL/SQL, packages, stored procedures, triggers..etc
• Skilled in performance tuning, query plan / explain plan analysis, indexing, table partitioning
• Knowledge of full project lifecycle; ability to communicate requirements to customer and developers
• Excellent communication, time management, negotiation & presentation skills
• Well organized, detail oriented, ability to multi-task
• Python or R to develop AI / ML models
• Bachelor's in Computer Sciences/Computer Engineering
