A Data Architect, or Data Systems Architect, is responsible for designing data infrastructure to extract and organize data for authorized individuals to access. Their duties include identifying projects internal and external data sources, collaborating with accounts heads to determine their data challenges and organizational needs, and using the information to create and maintain data infrastructure across the projects.
Developing and implementing an overall organizational data strategy that is in line with business processes. The strategy includes data model designs, database development standards, implementation, and management of data warehouses and data analytics systems.
Identifying data sources, both internal and external, and working out a plan for data management that is aligned with organizational data strategy.
Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the enterprise data system.
Managing end-to-end data architecture, from selecting the platform, designing the technical architecture, and developing the application to finally testing and implementing the proposed solution.
Defining and managing the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organization.
Integrating technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security.
Conducting a continuous audit of data management system performance, refine whenever required, and report immediately any breach or loopholes to the stakeholders.
Ability to implement common data management and reporting technologies, as well as the basics of columnar and NoSQL databases, data visualization (Tableau or Power BI), unstructured data, and predictive analytics.
Knowledge of systems development, including system development life cycle, project management approaches and requirements, design and testing techniques
Proficiency in data modeling and design, including SQL development and database administration.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field.
8 years of professional experience in the data engineering track / Development
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Data Architect.

Good Experience with Azure Data Factory.
Good knowledge of NO SQL database like Cosmos DB.
Very Good in Tableau or Power BI.
Very Good knowledge of DAX, MDX, TSQL, HQL.
Experience with version control (Git).
Knowledge of programming languages Python / Scala is preferred.
Infrastructure as code (IaC) is a plus.
Experience with Elastic Search is a plus.
TOGAF Or SOA Professional Certification is a plus.
Experience with shell scripts and commands is a plus.
Professional experience optimizing building and maintaining machine learning workflows is a plus.
