Job Description
- Design and implement electrical systems for data centers, including power distribution, UPS systems, generators, and lighting
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
- Perform load calculations and develop electrical schematics and diagrams
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations
- Collaborate with other engineers and IT staff to integrate electrical systems with other data center infrastructure
- Manage electrical projects from concept through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with vendors
- Monitor and analyze electrical systems performance, providing recommendations for improvements
- Participate in emergency response and recovery operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 2 years in a data center environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
