Smart System is hiring for a Multinational Partner in Egypt, We're seeking a highly skilledSystem Administratorwith deep infrastructure expertise to support and maintain enterprise-grade systems across a dynamic, mission-critical environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and strong compliance across physical and virtualized environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management:Deploy and maintainVMware/Nutanix HCI,Cisco UCS, andNetApp/SAN storageto ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Backup & DR:AdministerVeeam/NetBackupsolutions, conduct regular failover tests, and ensure data recoverability.
- M365/Azure AD:ManageExchange Online,Entra ID, andconditional access policiesfor secure collaboration.
- Security & Compliance:Enforce patch management (WSUS/SCCM), firewall rules (FortiGate), andISO 27001standards.
- Physical DC Ops:Oversee racking/cabling, hardware lifecycle, and vendor coordination for data center equipment.
Technical Skills:
- Virtualization:VMware vSphere, Nutanix Prism, Hyper-V.
- Backup/DR:Veeam, NetBackup, Azure Backup, DPM.
- Cloud/Identity:M365 Admin Center, Azure AD, Intune MDM.
- Storage:NetApp, Dell EMC, SAN/NAS configurations.
- Scripting:PowerShell/Bash for automation (e.g., patch deployments).
- Monitoring:Zabbix, SolarWinds, or vROps.
Qualifications:
- Experience:5+ years indata center operationswithVMware/Nutanixandenterprise backups.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- VMware (VCP-DCV), Nutanix (NCSE), or Microsoft (AZ-104).
- Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) or equivalent.
- Education:Bachelor's in IT/Computer Science or related field.
- Soft Skills:Problem-solving, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure in a24/7 environment.
