Position Objective:
Manage Data Center Passive and Active Planning activities
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Capacity & Demand Management: Oversee data center forecasting, capacity planning, and demand management to ensure infrastructure scales ahead of business needs.
- Deployment & Architecture Planning: Define comprehensive deployment plans, service/product scopes, and strict technical specification requirements.
- Hosting & Facility Management: Manage data center facility reservations, space allocation, and hosting environments efficiently.
- Strategic Benchmarking: Conduct data center strategy reviews, performance analysis, and benchmark studies to secure future-proof facilities optimized for Telco, IT, and AI advancements.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize advanced data analytics to monitor infrastructure health, optimize performance, and drive strategic decision-making.
- Financial & Project Control: Oversee billing, invoicing, and rigorous project controls to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
- Governance & Contract Management: Analyze and review legal frameworks, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and vendor contracts to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
- Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement by developing robust operational processes, enhancing product/service quality, and maintaining high QA standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Telecommunication.
- 10+ years of proven experience in the planning, design, and implementation of Data Center Facilities, Data Center Networks (DCN), and structured data cabling/passive infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience crafting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQs) for complex network elements and solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with network automation and orchestration technologies.
- Deep expertise in executing end-to-end architecture analysis and high-level design activities.
- Solid understanding of Master Service Agreements (MSAs), contractual structures, and vendor management.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical infrastructure strategies with overarching commercial goals.
- Proficient in creating executive-level presentations, management reporting, and analytical dashboards.
- Proactive Ownership: A self-starter who takes full accountability for project delivery and thrives in fast-paced environments.
