Data Engineer | FinTech

Edison Smart is partnered with an Abu Dhabi-based digital bank & we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their data team and take full ownership of designing, building and scaling data infrastructure from the ground up.

What You Will Do

- Design and build scalable, production-grade data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows

- Develop and maintain data models, warehouses, and lakehouse architectures

- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance in a regulated financial environment

- Own pipeline reliability, monitoring, and incident response

What We Are Looking For

- 5+ years of data engineering experience

- Mandatory: hands-on experience in banking or fintech - domain knowledge is essential!

- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python

- Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks

- Experience with Airflow, dbt, or similar orchestration tools

- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure

Nice to Have

- Experience at a neobank or digital bank

- Exposure to ML or AI data infrastructure
