Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to support data integration, processing, and governance in large-scale IT and digital transformation projects across the Middle East. The successful candidate will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting analytical and AI-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Collect, clean, transform, and load project-related datasets.
- Maintain and optimize SQL databases to ensure reliability and performance.
- Integrate diverse data sources, including GIS, IoT, and API-driven data.
- Develop and maintain metadata documentation, data dictionaries, and quality reports.
- Support data governance, compliance, and security requirements.
- Collaborate with AI, simulation, and visualization teams to enable data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or big data projects.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT tools; strong data modeling skills.
- Familiarity with data formats such as CSV, JSON, Shapefile, DWG, RVT, OBJ.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or big data technologies preferred.
- Knowledge of data governance and API integration best practices.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese, French, or Arabic is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel or relocate within the Middle East region.
