Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Data Entry Research Analyst to join a fully remote team and support structured research, data validation, and reporting initiatives. As a Data Entry Research Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, reviewing, entering, and validating data from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Entry
- Enter, update, and maintain structured data in spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems
- Review incoming data for completeness and accuracy before submission
- Standardize formatting, naming conventions, and categorization across datasets
- Remove duplicates and flag inconsistencies or missing information
- Ensure adherence to data entry guidelines and quality standards
Research & Source Verification
- Conduct structured online research using approved databases and sources
- Verify information accuracy before entering into internal systems
- Cross-reference multiple data points to ensure reliability
- Document research sources and maintain traceable references
- Identify data gaps and escalate issues when necessary
Data Analysis & Reporting Support
- Assist in organizing datasets for analysis and reporting
- Prepare summary reports and data extracts as requested
- Support dashboard updates and KPI tracking
- Identify trends, patterns, or recurring inconsistencies in data
- Contribute to basic analytical insights to support business decisions
Quality Control & Compliance
- Double-check entries for errors prior to finalization
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive or proprietary information
- Follow documented standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure compliance with internal data governance standards
- Support audit preparation and documentation reviews
Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Work closely with research, operations, and analytics teams
- Communicate clearly when data discrepancies arise
- Recommend improvements to data collection workflows
- Participate in training sessions and process updates
- Adapt to evolving research tools and reporting systems

Required Qualifications
