Data Entry Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Data Entry Specialist to join our Operations team.

The role is responsible for entering, reviewing, classifying, and maintaining product information in our internal systems. The successful candidate will ensure that product data is complete, accurate, and consistent while meeting required deadlines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and update product information accurately in the company's systems, including text and numerical data.
• Review, classify, and organize product data according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Verify product information and identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent data.
• Correct data errors and resolve inconsistencies whenever possible.
• Research and collect additional information when product details are incomplete or unclear.
• Review product images and available information to ensure products are correctly identified and classified.
• Maintain accurate and consistent product records in the database.
• Follow established data-entry, product-classification, and validation procedures.
• Complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines while maintaining high accuracy.
• Perform regular quality checks on entered and updated data.
• Respond to internal requests for product information and retrieve relevant records or files when required.
• Work closely with Operations, Field, Quality Control, and other team members to resolve data-related issues.
• Report missing information, unusual cases, or data issues to the relevant team member or supervisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good typing speed and data-entry skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Good computer skills and ability to work with different electronic file formats.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to review and understand structured product information.
• Ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in data.
• Good research and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize tasks and work according to priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multicultural team.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
