Role purpose
- Enable effective data governance by maintaining ownership, metadata, quality controls, lineage and issue-management practices.
- Maintain data-domain ownership, stewardship and governance records.
- Document critical data elements, definitions, lineage and control requirements.
- Support data-quality rule definition, monitoring and issue remediation.
- Coordinate governance forums, decisions and action tracking.
- Produce evidence and reporting for data-governance compliance.
- Data governance frameworks
- Business glossary and metadata management
- Data lineage
- Data quality
- Data ownership and stewardship
- SQL and reporting literacy
- Relevant delivery experience in the stated domain.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary technology, risk and business stakeholders.
- Regulated financial-services experience is preferred.
- Current data-governance inventory and glossary
- Documented lineage and control records
- Data-quality dashboard and remediation log
- DAMA CDMP or equivalent desirable
- Data catalogue/metadata platform
- SQL
