In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures tailored to client needs
- Conduct assessments of existing data governance practices and identify improvement opportunities
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote awareness and adherence to data governance standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data ownership, stewardship, and accountability
- Monitor and report on compliance with data governance policies, recommending corrective actions as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or consulting
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Proven ability to analyze complex data systems and recommend actionable improvements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) are advantageous
- Familiarity with data governance tools and platforms for managing data quality and compliance
