Job Description
- Build and define metadata management framework, policies and standards from scratch
- Initially will be Head of Metadata but will transition into VP of Data Management
- Develop the metadata strategy with the CDO
- Oversee the implementation of a metadata repository
- Establish the metadata governance frameworks, policies and standards
- Full lifecycle delivery of metadata - implement entire workflow
- Oversee the establishment of data lineage and impact analysis
- Integrate metadata management successfully with other existing systems
- Train and develop team
The Successful Applicant
- Must have extensive experience (8+ years) as a metadata professional
- Hands-on delivery experience of full life cycle metadata management initiatives
- Hands on experience of building metadata management function
- Strong knowledge of metadata, data quality and data lineage best practices and techno-functional solutions/tooling.
- Knowledge of RDBMS, data engineering, data modeling, ETL, MDM and data warehousing
