Data Governance Lead

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh for a Data Governance Lead. The role involves establishing and maintaining data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality standards, and developing policies for data security and compliance. Additionally, the Data Governance Lead will manage data assets, oversee data lifecycle activities, and collaborate with teams to ensure adherence to data governance principles. The role includes leading data strategy initiatives, conducting audits, and providing insights to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Data Governance, Data Quality Management, and Data Policy Development
• Proficiency in Data Analysis, Data Modeling, and Data Lifecycle Management
• Experience with Compliance Standards, Data Privacy Regulations, and Risk Management
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to collaborate across diverse teams to implement data governance processes
• Familiarity with data governance tools and enterprise data management software
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Prior experience in a data governance or related leadership role, preferably in the IT or technology sector
• Certifications such as DAMA, CIMP, CDMP, or equivalent are a plus
