Description:

  • Understanding migrations and data transformation.
  • Running and monitoring migration tools.
  • Validate data correctness and completeness.
  • implement methods to improve data reliability and quality.
  • Implement methods to improve reconciliation.
  • Work closely with developers around Way4 to understand the target system database.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure global and migration parameters for the target bank environment (Way4Cards).
  • Set up configuration groups and ensure environment readiness for migration phases.
  • Import clients, contracts, and cards using scheduler jobs and XML configuration files.
  • Run and validate static data reconciliation reports, comparing source and target system outputs.
  • Extract dynamic data (e.g., financials, historical transactions, authorizations, balances, block codes, tokens) from the source system using Oracle SQL.
  • Import dynamic data into the target system using scheduler jobs and SQL Loader.
  • Migrate components such as archive contracts, billing history, due balances, installments, account transfers, classifiers history, and PIN block data.
  • Generate and analyze reconciliation reports for both static and dynamic data.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between source and target systems.
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Execute Start-of-Day (SOD) and ETL processes in the target environment.
  • Perform comprehensive testing to verify that migrated data functions as intended.
  • Conduct regression testing, including validation of contracts, cards, balances, authorizations, and usage limiters.
  • Document all steps, issues, and reconciliation results for audit and knowledge transfer.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and business analysis teams to ensure successful mock runs and production cutovers.
  • Provide post-migration support and assist in stabilization activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer information systems.
  • 2+ Years of Experience in professional management of projects in payments domain.
  • Proven experience in data migration execution within the Cards domain.
  • Knowledge of Way4 platform and its data structures is preferred.
  • Understanding of card lifecycle processes (issuance, billing, transactions, limits).
  • Experience in mock runs, dry runs, and DR migration phases.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, and ETL tools (preferably Azure Data Factory).
  • Tools: MS Project, MS Excel, Task Tracking (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Processes: Kanban, Scrum, Waterfall, SAFE
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large data volumes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple migration iterations.
