As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for translating business needs into a robust data model for applications & related systems, providing necessary expertise in data modeling tools and techniques.
Functional
- Coordinate with multiple technical teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions, identify and define necessary system enhancements, and continuously deploy new products & process improvements.
- Work with business and solutions teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual, logical or physical data models.
- Analyze source systems to understand the data and develop data models.
- Identify the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools to support automated data loads, security concerns, analytic models, and data visualization models.
- Define and govern data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.
- Review data and identify data anomalies that hinder the evolution to future state architecture.
- Prepare documents for data architecture and maintain a knowledge base for the data structure.
- Engage in review, analysis, modernization, and sustenance of data cleansing and integration support.
- Develop plans for automating and implementing the clean-up of data using existing capabilities and/or developing new solutions.
- Map data sources and targets for data movement, analyzing thoroughly to ensure appropriate integrity and quality of all data.
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in creation of logical and physical data models
- 3 years of experience as data modeler/data architect in the analytics industry
- Nice to have Javascript, Hive, Kubernetes, Python, Cloud Platform experience.
