Job title:

Quality & Controls Analyst - SharedService Center

Overview:

Data Quality & Controls Analyst is responsible for establishing and governing data quality standards and control frameworks across all functions. The role drives automation of controls ensures data integrity across systems, and leads process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and eliminate manual interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Quality

  • Process Analysis & Quality Identification: Work closely with cross-functional teams across all SSC to assess current workflows, pinpoint potential risks, and identify essential quality checks and control points
  • Quality Framework Development: Create KPIs, audit checklists, and monitoring dashboards for proactive data quality management.
  • Analyze and report on data mismatches, Develop automated mismatch detection tools and standardized reporting templates.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead root cause analysis for quality issues, propose corrective actions, to drive process enhancements.
  • Act as a key partner to Finance, Operations, IT, and other functions

Monthly Closing Controls

  • Conduct reconciliation checks to ensure books are closed accurately and completely.
  • Prepare and control monthly closing activities in coordination with stakeholders within SSC and external teams.
  • Perform settlements checks for all bookings to validate financial accuracy.
  • Prepare reports post-closing activities, highlighting key metrics and insights.

Experience / Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Financial Controlling, Data Governance, or Process Improvement.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; automation exposure is a strong plus.
  • Ability to influence and work cross-functionally.
  • Strong Analytical Skills & Continuous improvement mindset
  • Proven track record in driving process improvements and control frameworks.
