Job Description:

Required Technical Skill :

• Design and implement data quality rules and validations using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
• Perform data profiling to assess data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and uniqueness
• Develop data cleansing and standardization workflows to improve data reliability
• Build and maintain DQ scorecards, dashboards, and metrics to monitor data quality KPIs
• Implement data transformations and enrichment logic as part of DQ processes
• Define and track data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency)
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and data governance teams
• Identify root causes of data quality issues and recommend preventive measures
• Support regulatory, reporting, analytics, and downstream data consumers
• Document DQ rules, issue logs, thresholds, and remediation actions
• Participate in UAT, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
• Data profiling
• Data cleansing & standardization
• Rule development
• Scorecards and metrics
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter / Cloud Data Integration (good to have)
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation
• Understanding of ETL/data pipeline concepts
• Experience working with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and best practices

Data & Domain Knowledge

• Solid understanding of enterprise data management
• Experience working in Banking / Financial Services / Insurance domain preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory and reporting data quality requirements is a plus

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Proactive mindset for identifying and resolving data issues
