Define Critical Data Elements conducting workshops/meeting with business users.
Manage and maintain Business Glossary / Data Dictionary work closely with Data Domain Owners and Lead Data Stewards, ensures that Business Glossary is up to date.
Define and maintain business rules and data quality KPIs - Work closely with the respective data domain owners and data stewards to define business rules and data quality KPIs for their respective data domains.
Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures.
Coordinate the creation and implementation of Data Improvement Plans - Work with the data governance manager and respective data domain owners Data Improvement Plans for their respective data domains, track and report on progress.
Proactively monitor, measure and analyze data quality metrics and conduct regular assessments and audits.
Perform data profiling, analysis, and validation to identify issues.
Undertake and Conduct Data Quality Management activities such as (but not limited to): Identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems.
Implement and adhere to proper change management process to continuously improve quality of data.
Develop and execute validation scripts or queries to identify and rectify problems.
Understand and determine business impact of data quality issues.
Perform Root Cause Analysis on issues and report those to business.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize data entry processes, make them aware of the importance of good quality data.
Support implementing data governance frameworks and ensure compliance.
Train stakeholders on the different aspects of data governance and quality. This includes conducting training in business terms, business rules, data quality management etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must Have strong data management and governance skills and experience.
Minimum 8 years experience in data quality implementation using any DQ quality tool like IDQ, Trillium, etc.
Experienced in Data & Analytics platform stacks in MS Azure data lakes, ETL/ELT tools to BI tools.
Strong in SQL query writing.
Candidate must have prior experience implementing DQ dashboards for reporting metrics.
Must be able to identify, analyze and address problems to resolve issues whenever possible in a way that minimizes negative impact and risk to the organization.
Must be proactive and be able to drive in the direction of work that needs to be completed.
Ability to work with Technical and Non-Technical business owners.
Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight.
Responsible for end-to-end oversight of testing deliverables
Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Candidate should be Arabic Speaking
Excellent people & problem-solving skills; strong critical thinking and communication skills (verbal, non-verbal).
GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS:
Experience working in Government institutions.
DQ certificate like DAMA.
Experience in CRM systems like Salesforce, MS Dynamic 365.
