What You´ll Do
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of data science solutions: from exploratory data analysis and model development through to production deployment, monitoring, and iteration—ensuring models meet accuracy targets and business KPIs
- Partner with Data Engineering and Business stakeholders to identify and scope data science use cases, translating business problems into technical requirements using agile sprints and regular stakeholder reviews
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional project teams as the data science subject matter expert, presenting insights to leadership, conducting workshops with business units, and advocating for data-driven decision making
- Apply statistical modeling, machine learning, and analytics techniques to datasets ranging from small samples to petabyte-scale data, selecting appropriate tools (Python, R, SQL, Spark) based on project requirements
- Research and prototype emerging AI/ML technologies, evaluating their potential business value and presenting recommendations to technical leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business informatics, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Majors or any relevant study
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience with data engineering tools and techniques, and a solid understanding of data quality assurance processes.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g. Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Ability to work in agile environments and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to find innovative solutions to complex data challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
