Data Scientist - 6 Months Contract

Data Analysis and Modeling:

Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets

Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to forecast future performance

Data Visualization and Reporting:

Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports using tools such as MS Excel, MS Power BI, Tableau, etc. to present the client's data in a clear and impactful manner

Communicate results and insights effectively via well-structure and visualized presentations and reports

Advanced Analytics:

Apply advanced analytics techniques such as clustering, classification, regression, and deep learning to address business challenges

Continuously improve models by refining data, feature engineering, and optimizing algorithms

Data Quality and Governance:

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency throughout the analysis process

Develop data validation and quality control processes to maintain high standards of analysis

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred

Certifications in data science or analytics (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Data Scientist Associate) are preferred

8+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analytics Consulting, or similar role

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience with data analysis libraries

Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBi, Tableau)

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

Strong communication and presentation skillsinsights.
