Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly capable AI Applications Engineer to design, implement, and optimize AI-driven solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and platforms. This role combines strong software engineering expertise with hands-on experience in artificial intelligence, enabling the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-impact business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
AI Solution Design & Implementation
- Design and develop AI-powered solutions aligned with business needs and system architecture.
- Build, test, and deploy AI models and workflows, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Integrate AI solutions with internal platforms, APIs, and enterprise systems.
Data & Analytics
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights.
- Apply self-service analytics concepts and contribute to BI reporting solutions.
MLOps & System Optimization
- Implement and manage MLOps practices across the AI lifecycle, particularly within Azure environments.
- Apply CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and improve system efficiency.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot AI systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Innovation & Governance
- Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies, recommending enhancements where applicable.
- Ensure AI solutions adhere to best practices in security, ethics, transparency, and data protection.
- Document architectures, workflows, and technical processes for consistency and scalability.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Science, MLOps, or AI Engineering roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid experience in MLOps within Azure cloud environments.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira.
