Job Title: Data Scientist / Data Analyst Logistics & Vending Operations
Location: Al Quoz, UAE | Full-time
Budget: AED 4000 to 6000 + Benefits.
Role Overview
We are looking for a data-driven Data Scientist / Analyst to support vending, FMCG, and last-mile logistics operations. The role focuses on optimizing route planning, machine replenishment, inventory movement, and supply chain efficiency using data and predictive analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales, replenishment, and logistics data to optimize vending routes and refill cycles
- Build demand forecasting and inventory optimization models
- Track and improve KPIs such as OTIF, stock availability, route efficiency, and downtime
- Develop dashboards and reports for operations and leadership teams
- Support cost reduction and performance improvement initiatives across logistics
Must-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience in logistics, supply chain, FMCG, or vending analytics
- Strong skills in SQL, Excel, Python/R
- Experience with route optimization, demand planning, and inventory analysis
- Exposure to ERP / WMS / logistics data systems
Good to Have
- Power BI or Tableau
- AI/ML exposure for forecasting or optimization
- Experience in last-mile, vending, retail, or distribution businesses
- Hands on Experience with Predictive models/Analysis.
